Birth and Re-birth: The Way of the Spirit

Human beings are not born once and for all
on the day their mothers give birth to them, but…life obliges
them over and over again to give birth to themselves.

~ Gabriel Garcia Marquez (re-posted from: Vortex Quotes)

One’s relationship with her or himself is healthier if growth and change are perceived as beneficial, and thus welcomed by the spirit. If you fear change you will fight against it and resist it with all of your might, only to find that it will happen anyway. If you embrace change with an open heart and mind you will learn to adapt more quickly.

This is the death of the ego. Do you resist and fall like these people? Or stand outside and watch from a safe distance?

This is the death of the ego. Do you resist and be destroyed? Or embrace and watch from a safe distance?

It seems we struggle for a lifetime to become whole. Few of us ever do … Most of us end up going out the same way we came in — kicking and screaming. Most of us don’t have the strength — or the conviction. Most of us don’t want to face our fears.― Darren Aronofsky; Kent Williams, The Fountain

It is through Love that we find this strength. The illusion of the Devil is that we need power to overcome our hardships, but true freedom is not found in power. You cannot buy peace. You cannot own love.

This is the star. When we embrace the spiritual journey we are renewed and filled with hope and serenity.

This is the spirit who embraces change. It represents renewal, hope and serenity.

“Love
Embracing Tao, you become embraced.
Supple, breathing gently, you become reborn.
Clearing your vision, you become clear.
Nurturing your beloved, you become impartial.
Opening your heart, you become accepted.
Accepting the World, you embrace Tao.
Bearing and nurturing,
Creating but not owning,
Giving without demanding,
Controlling without authority,
This is love.”

Lao Tzu, The Teachings of Lao-Tzu: The Tao-Te Ching

There is only one Truth, and it is the freedom of Love. The paths to freedom are many. To find your path you must know who you are.

Only you hold the key to your own freedom.

Es verdad, y te sabes que cuando uno nino cries for the first time, it is not to take a breath. It wails because it has had its first thought. It is un primero realization that it is now divided, apart from its true nature y swimming in an ‘illusory-like’ temporal prism. Esos ninos never learn! Aye aye aye!

    • Thus el nino begins the long, exciting journey back to the Source, the One, it’s true nature. It’s like a beautiful game, no?
