October: The Month of Metamorphosis

Sometimes the only way to get what you really want in life is to leave behind the sure thing you already have.

This month, don’t be afraid to make changes to your life. It can be difficult to walk away from things that are still working…a comfortable relationship, job, or living situation that still provides you with the basics but which isn’t truly fulfilling. When there’s nothing really “wrong” it is much easier to justify staying than actually making a change. Why not just keep a good thing going? Shouldn’t we just keep our head down and be grateful for what we have?

Not always.Β

Sometimes, it is more important to listen to your heart than it is to play it safe. Your heart is your internal propeller, and your intuition is your compass. If you sense that it’s time to move on don’t doubt yourself! You have the power and the ability to seek what you truly want out of life. And what’s more than that, you deserve it!

If you are feeling restless in your comfortable situation take a good, hard look at your life and ask, “What do I really want? What does success truly mean to me?”

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Metamorphosis is a major change in the appearance or character of someone or something. It is healthy and natural to change, to grow, to expand, to become something new. When you are ready to go through a metamorphosis it is often for the better. The caterpillar may not be aware when he is forming his cocoon that when he comes out of it he will have beautiful wings. He just knows that it is time for change. Trust your instincts, because like the caterpillar you are subtly aware of your wings preparing to unfold.

This month I encourage you to do what you love, take chances, make changes!

Death is merely a doorway. Transform your life…transform the World.

Namaste,

Kay

  2. I don’t know what it’s like in the US but in England we bemoan the end of our summer – usually because it is so short! Our shops and restaurants start promoting Christmas at the end of August. Celebrating the transformational opportunities and beauty of the autumn is something we are truly in need of reminding! Thank you x

    • In this part of the US fall is a beautiful time. The leaves turn bright orange, red and yellow. The weather becomes cooler so you can start wearing sweaters but still not need a jacket. It is still sunny fairly often. People start baking pies and drink hot cider. It’s kind of wonderful. πŸ™‚

I’m glad you found my post helpful. I hope that as winter approaches you feel yourself wrapping up in a cocoon of warmth and security and can make your plans for the spring. ❀ Thanks for stopping by!

      Namaste,
      K
